The Region is reach in mineral and spa waters, brick loam, slab stones, wood, copper, gold, zinc and non-ferrous metals.38km of the regional roads are of the national importance, and 198km of the roads are of the local ones. Agricultural sown area covers 5093h including 2466h for plowing.In Keda region the flora is similar to characterizing the kolkheti valley. There are many chestnut and beech forests, relict willow trees and various wild frets. In forests it is possible to see wild pigs, Caucasus deer, badger, Caucasus brown bear, wolf, fox, etc. Birds – hawk, nightingales, magpie, blackbird etc. In rivers are trout and some local fishes.
Among historical sights of the Region one should note:fortresses of Zendidi, Saghoreti, Kaviani, Tsivasula;arch bridges of Dandalo and Makhuntseti;Dzentsmani wine making stone facilities (“satsnakheli”); There is the Museum of in center of Keda where is exhibited the archeological finding in the Region.
