Visitors can see the memorial complex of Alexander Kazbrgi- classic of Georgian literature. The museum building itself is of the urban value. Highly interesting ethnographical and archaeological collections are exhibited there reflecting all peculiarities of local lifestyle. Several samples of contemporaneous fine art performed by Georgian artists are exhibited in the museum as well.
Kazbegi Region - one of the remote territories of Georgia located on highland slopes of the Great Caucasus Range comprises Truso, Sno, Dariali and Khde Gorges encircled by snowy summits of Shino, Rustaveli, Ortsveri, Quabarjina, Jimarat-Khokhi, Chata, Mkinvari and Khuro, mountains. There absolute altitudes vary between 3000-5000 m. above the sea level.
